20th International Meeting on Lithium Batteries
IMLB 2020 has been cancelled
Ladies and Gentlemen,
On 21 April 2020, the Berlin Senate, the local government of Berlin, issued a regulation, which prohibits any event with more than 1,000 participants in Berlin until 31 August 2020. Unfortunately, this also affects our IMLB 2020, which we therefore have to cancel. We regret this very much, but we are bound by the legal requirements. We are therefore closing the registration and abstract management with immediate effect and ask for your kind understanding. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the cancelation.
Martin Winter, Chairman of IMLB 2020 on behalf of the organizing committee
*** In view of the cancellation of IMLB 2020, we would like to remind all participants to cancel their rooms within the four weeks deadline. ***
IMLB 2020 is the premier international conference on the state of lithium battery science and technology, as well as current and future related battery systems for application in transportation, industry, grid storage, aviation, aerospace, biomedical, and other promising sectors. Convening in Berlin, the conference is expected to draw more than 1,000 experts, researchers, and company representatives involved in the advanced battery field.
IMLB will provide a stimulating forum to discuss recent progress in advanced lithium and alternative batteries for energy storage and conversion. The meeting will focus on both basic and applied research findings that have led to improved battery materials, and to the understanding of the fundamental processes that determine and control performance.
